We held a summer festival co-hosted by the nursing volunteer group Cannasu (@cannasu.natokawa22) and Brave Kids (@bravekids2009), an organization run by our manager Okada to support siblings of children with disabilities.
The event was lively and bustling with a large group of 34 volunteers, including 19 adults and 15 children, and 15 families with children with disabilities. The shooting game was thoughtfully designed so that even children with limited hand mobility could enjoy it, and the true or false game, played in teams with kid volunteers, was a great hit! There was also a massage corner.
The food stalls featured festival favorites like yakisoba, sausages, shaved ice, and crepes, while Sloth Cafe proudly served its signature curry. All proceeds from the event were donated to Cannasu.
A big thank you to everyone at Saitama Resona Bank, Kawaguchi Asahi Branch, for providing the venue, to all the volunteers, and to everyone involved. Thank you for your generous support and for creating such fun summer memories.
