Unlike last week, today(January 27th) was a relaxed day at Slow Cafe!
On such days, it’s time for work, work, and more work! 😆
Today’s task was sorting the freshly made Hime Lemon enzyme syrup! We’re also planning to make semi-dried Hime Lemons using ones with minimal blemishes. Stay tuned!
Now, you might not be familiar with Hime Lemons. These small citrus fruits are about the size of a sudachi. Until around September, they remain green and look just like sudachi. However, by January, they ripen, turning orange both on the outside and inside. They have a strong aroma and juicy flesh. Our enzyme drink is made from organically grown, wax-free Hime Lemons from Hiroshima—be sure to give it a try! 🍋
On Sunday, January 28th, we also held a test ride event for the welfare vehicle “Attara IIna-go“, a remodeled used car project by the Rakko-kan day service center!
