We had 5 groups of customers with babies visit us today since opening!
They all looked like they were still 0 years old!! They were soooo cute and adorable, just watching them healed my soul. Even when their moms just went to the bathroom, they cried their hearts out as if it were the end of the world, which was also adorable❤ They’re being left behind by the person they love most in the world, so it’s no wonder they feel despair (lol).
Sloth Cafe welcomes strollers, diaper changes, naps, and bringing baby food. Please feel free to use us for your mommy gatherings. You can also make reservations for the tatami mat area on our website.
And! This month, we’re hosting work experience for junior high school students from Soka City. Yesterday, a boy and a girl in their first year of junior high came for a preliminary meeting, and I was surprised at how they were, considering they were elementary school students until last year. I’m looking forward to the actual day.
1. The photo in the upper left is of buttered toast. The two smallish slices of bread are from Hatogaya Hot Station, and they are apparently made with guidance from the famous Daisy, so the taste is guaranteed. At the cafe, you can choose 2 kinds of jam. Enjoy the bread with different flavors. It’s a self-toast style.
2. Today, we’ve added a mini soup (edamame potage) to our lunch curry! It has a mild flavor, seasoned only with homemade shio koji and butter. We’re still experimenting with extras for our lunch curry.
3. The photo at the bottom shows the organic vegetables that arrived yesterday and today. Radishes, Shimonita leeks, and broccoli. Vegetables are so expensive in supermarkets this time of year, but these were only 150 yen… For something this delicious?? I had to ask if it was a mistake. It’s first come, first served. I’ll post a story as soon as possible on the day they arrive, so be sure to check it out! @reo_1228 Thank you always!
We look forward to your visit.
