On February 3, 2025, it was a cold Sunday when it seemed like it might snow but never did. Sloth Cafe had a relaxing, quiet day. ☺️ I heard that the Ehōmaki section at the nearby supermarket was packed! I thought, “Maybe families are celebrating Setsubun on Sunday when everyone can gather rather than on Monday?” …Only to realize that today was actually Setsubun! 😂 I was completely unaware that the date changes each year—how embarrassing! 🫣 Thanks to the comments, I learned something new today! 😂
Now, here’s an important update on our February opening schedule.
Sloth Cafe will be closed from Friday, February 9 to Sunday, February 11 as my son and I will be attending an event for children and individuals with disabilities. If you plan to visit the cafe this month, please double-check our schedule. We appreciate your understanding! 🙇♀️
Also, please note that tomorrow (Monday) is our regular closed day. We will be open again from Tuesday, and we look forward to welcoming you! ❤
