Hello, I’m Okada, the manager of Sloth Cafe.
This past weekend (April 12–13, 2025), we were delighted to welcome many families with young children. The café was filled with laughter and warm, joyful moments. Thank you so much for visiting!
🧸 About Our Tatami Seating
Our tatami-style raised seating area (koagari) is especially popular with families with little ones.
Please note that depending on how busy we are, we may guide you to a table seat instead.
If you’d like to use the tatami area, we recommend making a reservation in advance via our website. (You’ll find the link in our profile.)
Even if the tatami area is full, you can keep your stroller open inside the café, so it’s perfectly comfortable even if your child isn’t quite ready to sit on their own.
🍼 We’re a Barrier-Free Café
Since our opening, we’ve worked to create a truly accessible and inclusive space for everyone.
To support families with children, we provide:
- Yoga mats & blankets for naps
- Picture books, origami, coloring sheets, and stuffed sloth toys
- Children’s tableware
- Hot water for formula and food warming
- High chairs for toddlers
※ Please refrain from bringing in outside food and drinks (except for formula, baby food, or dietary support items). If you have questions, feel free to ask our staff.
Our restroom is equipped with a universal changing table and a child-size toilet seat, and used diapers can be disposed of on-site.
