Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting everyone from ‘Heart Poppo,’ an after-school day service in Adachi Ward, for a private lunch.
While we usually ask for orders and pre-payment at the counter, this private booking allowed us to assist with a special “money handling practice.” Each child had the opportunity to choose their meal, place their order, and pay from their own wallet. It was heartwarming for us to see the children’s earnest expressions as they handled their money and their pleasant interactions with our staff.
For children who have difficulty swallowing (enge), we also specially prepared a meat sauce that was easy for them to eat.
Additionally, a book-reading session was held in the restaurant. The room filled with joyful laughter as everyone participated in an interactive picture book reading. We are so glad that they were able to enjoy such a free and relaxed time, a unique benefit of a private booking, here at our establishment.
In the afternoon, we also hosted a live acoustic guitar performance by KINAPORO. Heartwarming, nostalgic melodies and the gentle sounds of the guitar filled the restaurant, creating a wonderfully unhurried atmosphere. Live acoustic guitar music, enjoyed with food and drinks, truly helps to create a comforting and relaxing space.
