Congratulations to everyone who celebrated Coming of Age Day, and to their families.
My Second Son’s Coming of Age Celebration
On a personal note, my second son has recently turned twenty.
We reserved the cafe for a private lunch on Sunday and invited his friends and teachers from his special needs school days to hold a small Coming of Age celebration.
The children attended a special needs school for the physically disabled. From the day they were born until today, every single day has been filled with anxiety about their health. The physical burden is certainly not small, involving not only daytime care but also repositioning at night and lifting them up even after they have grown to adult size.
My heart is filled with admiration for the parents who have walked this path together this far.
With Gratitude
To the teachers, day service staff, helpers, attending physicians, rehabilitation therapists, organizers of events for children with disabilities, relatives, and everyone in the community who has supported us for 12 years. And to the staff at the restaurants we frequent who always welcome us warmly.
I am filled with gratitude that we were able to reach this day supported by so many people.
From now on, we want to give back. If there is anything we can do to help, personally or as Sloth Cafe, please do not hesitate to let us know.

New “Lime Enzyme Drink” is Ready!
My posting is quite late, but the “Lime Enzyme Drink” is finally ready! Since we use pesticide-free limes, you can enjoy the peel with peace of mind.
This batch of citrus turned out particularly delicious. We plan to have the “Green Apple and Red Ginger Syrup” ready around next week, so please look forward to it!
“Assist Suit” Installed in the Restroom
We have installed an “Assist Suit” in the universal toilet inside the shop.
Wearing it reduces the burden on the lower back during caregiving by 35%, making the semi-crouching posture much easier. Anyone is free to try it out, so please experience the latest technology.
