Regarding our upcoming event, “Group Home Gathering ~Let’s Talk & Connect~” on Sunday, November 15th, we received a overwhelming number of sign-ups shortly after the announcement, and we are now fully booked! Thank you so much to everyone who registered.
What is a group home like? What will daily life look like after high school graduation? What are the actual costs and living conditions?
We hope this gathering will be a relaxed time where everyone can comfortably talk and exchange information about “what comes next” after high school graduation🌱
It will be a place to connect with others in similar situations and listen to real experiences from senior parents and families. Even for small questions like “Is it okay to ask something like this?”, we want to create a warm and comfortable environment for everyone to chat freely☺️☕️

Nice to meet you. I am Akane Tomioka.
I am a certified dietitian and work as a support staff member at a group home. My responsibilities include meal preparation, personal care assistance, and daily life support for residents.
