Hello! This is Okada, the manager of Sloth Cafe.
On a crisp and sunny autumn Sunday, an inclusive cleanup event called EAZY CLEAN IN SOKA was held! This wasn’t just an ordinary litter pickup event—it was an inclusive initiative realized thanks to requests from our wheelchair-using customers, An-chan and Mirai-chan, who wanted people to experience using a wheelchair while picking up trash together.
There were two course options: a route picking up litter along the way from Yatsuka Station to Sloth Cafe, and a route making trash bins at Sloth Cafe before picking up litter around the neighborhood. Both routes finished right here at Sloth Cafe!

For many participants, it was likely their first time riding in or pushing a wheelchair. I think everyone realized firsthand how much more challenging it is than it looks. We had many children join us, and I hope they grow into kind, compassionate adults who help build a more caring world in the future❤
